The client is a prominent financial services firm with over two decades of experience, serving a diverse clientele including institutional investors, mutual funds, hedge funds, banks, insurance companies, private equity firms, corporates, SMEs, and HNIs. They offer a wide range of services, with a strong emphasis on investment banking. Their investment banking division is highly regarded for providing advisory services, QIP, private equity, rights issues, and more. The firm is recognized for its expertise in stock and sector research, futures and options trading,





and has a significant presence in institutional equity trades. They are also a registered merchant banker, leveraging extensive market knowledge and a robust network to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

Job Description

-

Deal Origination and Sourcing: Identify and originate investment banking deals within the TMT (Digital) and/ or Infrastructure sectors.Leverage market networks to source potential opportunities and build a robust deal pipeline.

Independent P&L; Management: Manage and be accountable for independent P&L;, driving revenue growth and profitability.Develop and execute strategies to meet financial targets and business objectives.

End-to-End Deal Management: Oversee the entire deal lifecycle, from pitching for mandates to market outreach.Prepare deal collateral, conduct market outreach, and manage client interactions throughout the process.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including corporates, institutional investors,





and other stakeholders.Ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.

Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, including Institutional Equities and Wealth Management, to leverage cross-functional expertise.Work closely with the Investment Banking team to ensure seamless execution of deals.

Market and Industry Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes impacting the TMT and Infrastructure sectors.Provide insights and strategic advice to clients based on market analysis and research.

Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth within the target sectors.Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the firm's market presence and client base.







The Successful Applicant

-

Educational Background: Strong academic credentials preferably from top-tier institutions (IIT/Tier 1 Engineering/CA) along with an MBA from a prestigious business school (IIM/ISB/Tier 1 MBA).

Experience: 8-15 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, structured finance, or venture capital, with a focus on the TMT (Digital) and Infrastructure sectors.Proven track record of successful deal closures and business development.

Skills and Competencies: Market Network: Extensive network within the industry, with the ability to leverage relationships for deal origination and execution. Business Development: Demonstrated ability to identify potential opportunities, initiate discussions, and build strong client relationships.





P&L; Management: Experience managing independent P&L; with a focus on driving revenue growth and profitability. Deal Management: Expertise in managing the end-to-end deal lifecycle, from pitching for mandates to market outreach and client interactions. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to provide insights and advice based on market analysis. Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
