Job Description
Job Summary:
The Deputy Manager - Accounts will lead the accounts team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help automate accounting processes. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and experience with accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management:
o Lead and support the accounts team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
o Encourage teamwork and help the team improve their skills.
o Take full responsibility for the entire accounting activities in ASSP and oversee the accounting operations in AMD & ATS.
2. Financial Reporting:
o Ensure financial reports (e.g., profitability report, cash flow statement) are accurate and submitted on time.
o Handle tasks related to TDS, Income Tax, and GST, including monthly and yearly return submissions.
o Collaborate with auditors and prepare essential statements and reports to finalize accounts.
3. Automation of Accounting Activities:
o Identify tasks that can be automated to save time and reduce errors.
o Ensure proper implementation of Zoho software in ASSP and begin migrating AMD & ATS from Tally to Zoho.
o Train the team on new systems.
o Ensure error-free implementation of EnKash online software for sales staff expenses claims.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance.
- 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with accounting software and automation tools.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
