Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Solution Development:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable cloud solutions on the Azure platform.
- Implement cloud services such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure EventHub, Azure Networking, Fabric, and Azure API Management.
- Develop and manage Azure resources using Terraform, ARM templates, Azure CLI, and Azure PowerShell.
Containerization and Orchestration:
- Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker.
- Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Deploy and manage service meshes using Istio.
Infrastructure as Code:
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Pulumi.
- Automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources.
Application Integration:
- Integrate on-premises systems and applications with Azure cloud services.
- Utilize Azure Integration Services to develop workflows and automation processes.
- Implement and manage APIs for seamless integration between different systems and applications.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices for cloud solutions, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
DevOps and Automation:
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Monitor and optimize application performance and availability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
AI/ML Services:
- Implement and manage AI/ML services using Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and other relevant Azure AI tools.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and integrate them with cloud-based applications.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions to ensure best practices are followed.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and processes.
- Generate and analyze performance reports and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate project status, issues, and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software development experience, focusing on cloud-based solutions.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services and technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and/or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including serverless architecture, microservices, and containerization.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Pulumi, and Istio.
- Experience with AI/ML services on Azure,
including Azure Machine Learning and Cognitive Services.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or Docker.
- Knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Azure Data Lake.
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI services on Azure.

Contribute to all phases of SDLC including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing of the features. Build efficient components/algorithms on a microservice cloud environment Code review, mentoring junior engineers, and providing technical guidance to the team What we look for: Proven track record of building and shipping high-quality backend API components with a minimum of 13 years of experience. Deep knowledge in selecting, configuring,
and integrating 3rd party SaaS or COTS solutions as well as coordinating the development of such solutions Technical skills include Hands-on development on Java, Python, or NodeJS Strong SQL skills and experience and experience with relational and non-relational databases e.g. (Postgres/Oracle/Mongo). Broad experience in building interfaces between (cloud) solutions (Azure/AWS), API management and development. Detailed real-world experience with Scrum or similar agile methodologies Experience with the Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, Azure Infra, and Dev SecOps. Experience in Debugging and Monitoring the application. At least 2 years of experience managing high-output engineering teams with 8+ members.
