Senior Associate Manager- Quality (Automotive/EV/RAMS)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate Manager - Quality to join ourgrowing team and play a critical role in driving quality excellence across our operations.Position Overview:As the Senior Associate Manager of quality, you will be responsible for the implementation,maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS), as well asoverseeing Incoming Quality Control (IQC) and In-Process Quality Control (IPQC). Your leadership willensure compliance with quality standards and enhance our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities: QMS Management:o Implement, maintain,
and enhance the QMS in accordance with ISO 9001, TS 16949,and other relevant standards.o Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to resolve quality issueseffectively.o Develop and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including procedures,work instructions, and forms.o Train employees on QMS requirements and best practices.o Act as a liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Incoming Quality Control (IQC):o Supplier Evaluation: Develop and implement processes for evaluating and selectingsuppliers based on quality standards and performance metrics.o Incoming Inspection: Oversee the inspection of incoming materials and componentsto ensure they meet specified quality criteria.o Non-Conformance Management: Manage the documentation and resolution of nonconformingmaterials, coordinating with suppliers to address issues promptly.
In-Process Quality Control (IPQC):o Process Monitoring:
Implement and oversee quality control measures throughoutthe manufacturing process to ensure adherence to specifications.o Real-Time Inspections: Conduct real-time inspections and testing during productionto identify and address quality issues immediately.o Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to ensure quality standards aremet, facilitating corrective actions when necessary.o Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in IPQCprocesses, leveraging methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
Process Improvement:o Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma andLean Manufacturing methodologies.o Develop and implement process control plans and apply statistical methods tomonitor quality performance.o Monitor, report,
and drive improvements on key quality metrics.o Train employees on QMS requirements and best practices.o Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Compliance:o Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and standards.o Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with regulatory requirements.o Manage and maintain regulatory documentation. Additional Responsibilities:o Support other departments with quality-related activities.o Participate in cross-functional teams as needed.o Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance,
preferably withexperience in QMS implementation and maintenance. Proven understanding of relevant quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001, TS 16949). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software tools. Experience with data analysis and statistical methods preferred.
