Purpose:Software Engineering Manager for Digital Healthcare Products will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of advanced software solutions tailored to hospital environments. This role requires a dynamic and experienced professional who can synergize technical expertise with strategic management to drive innovative healthcare solutions. Based in Ahmadabad, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge technology that enhances hospital efficiency, patient outcomes, and overall Digital healthcare delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical ExpertiseProvide technical leadership in software solution architecture, design, development,
and implementation for hospital-specific applications.Hands on emerging technologies and trends in healthcare and software engineering by leveraging IoT, SaaS based applications, Cloud computing,, data management, and advanced Data analyticsLead the integration of third-party systems using APIs to enhance the functionality of hospital software solutions.Quality AssuranceImplement rigorous Software quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of software products.Conduct regular code reviews, testing, and validation to maintain high standards of software quality.Develop and enforce best implementation practices for software documentation and version control.Leadership and Team ManagementLead a team of software and solutions engineers, and digital healthcare technical specialists to implement the Healthcare platform and products.Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that promotes creativity and excellence.Ensure the team adheres to best practices in software solution development, quality assurance,
and project management.Conduct regular reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.Stakeholder CollaborationEngage with Product specialist, healthcare providers, and patients to understand their Clinical and non-clinical needs and translate them into effective software solutions.Collaborate with internal and external cross functional organization for solution engineering.Required Qualifications and SkillsTechnical SkillsExperienced on working with Software Products development and Integration solutions for HMS, EHR, EMR, LIMS, Diagnostic, PACS, Pharmacy management.Prior experience of Open-source healthcare product and IntegrationsProficiency in software engineering delivery using DevOps, Jenkins,
and Git.Thorough understanding of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to software engineering and deployment.Experience with project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.Non-Negotiable SkillsExtensive experience in healthcare industry software development and Solutions engineering.Proven leadership and management skills in guiding software engineering teams.In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements.Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written,
to interact with diverse stakeholders.Educational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.Relevant certifications in project management (PMP, Scrum Master) and software development using SaaS products (AWS, Azure) are advantageous.
