As **Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)**,





you will be predominantly involved in developing and automating business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. You will be a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. This is more than a challenging development role. This is high performance technology.

## Primary Responsibilities:

- Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery
- Design, develop, and support frameworks for our test infrastructure and providing automation expertise to our development teams
- Contribute toward predictable delivery of quality release
- Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation
- Mentor team members on Automation frameworks
- Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating,





proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them
- Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results
- Ensure that all tests are executed and give regular feedback to the team lead on the status of quality
- Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). ## Required Qualifications:

- B. Tech./MCA/ M. Tech (Minimum 16 years of formal education)
- Total experience of 9 years with solid technical background and at least 7 years of experience working in Java or Javascript/Typescript OR QA automations
- Experience in Selenium/Cypress/Playwright
- Hands on coding experience in Core Java, J2EE, spring ecosystem
- Experience working with the CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiatives
- Proficient working with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
- In-depth knowledge implementing test automation using either UFT, Selenium or SPOCK
- Solid working knowledge of TDD & BDD






- Knowledge on Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, RabbitMQ, Openshift
- Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environments

## Preferred Qualifications:

- Health care industry experience
- Knowledge on Spock
