Job Description
- Lead a high performing Virtual Assistant engineering team to deliver high-quality results on time and partner effectively with business and other IT teams.
- Lead and coach the team on an engineering culture thats agile, driven, customer-focused, risk-taking, collaborative, diverse, and inclusive.
- Partner closely with product team and contribute to product strategy.
- Develop innovation strategies, processes, and best practices.
- Review code and guide sprint team, ensuring quality is built into every output.
- Lead solution design discussions on various aspects including security, scalability, resiliency, extensibility, proactive system monitoring, design patterns, etc.,
and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed.
- Take responsibility for the quality and stability of the product by being hands-on with code, debugging complex issues, and lead production support readiness reviews for new releases.
- Contribute to architecture discussions with engineering leads, architects, product owners, and development team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- 15 years of experience building software and web applications.
- 3 years of experience developing & continuously improving Virtual Assistants.
- 8 years successfully leading high-performing engineering development team.
- Understanding of Conversational AI tools and platform capabilities.
- Experienced in Git, GitHub, Agile development processes.
- Proven expertise with Azure services, including Azure Active Directory, app services & function apps, AKS, managing and configuring Azure Virtual Networks and NSGs.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages & patterns; Python is preferred.
- Proven track record of diagnosing & efficiently resolving complex technical issues.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
