Job Description
: Engineering Analyst, Trust and Safety
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis, identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from data.
- 1 year of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- 2 years of experience with one or more of the following languages: SQL, R, Python, C .
- 1 year of experience with machine learning systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Execute projects/investigations and cross-functional initiatives within Google, interacting with senior stakeholders from Engineering, Legal, Product teams, and more.
- Deliver improvements to our performance metrics based on understanding of drivers of abuse and leverage fellow teammates to deliver exceptional business results.
- Provide technical contributions to the team and ensure that solutions fit within the current complex product and backend infrastructures.
- Design and deliver cross-functional strategic solutions at scale, focused on user safety, process optimizations, and safe business for our advertisers.
About the Job: The Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of Google products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and partners from abuse across various Google products. In this role,
you will collaborate with different teams at Google to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases, working towards promoting trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
Working Environment: This role may require occasional exposure to graphic content and may require on-call support during weekends and holidays.
