Job Title: Engineering Analyst, Trust and Safety
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Job Details:
- Experience completing work as directed, and collaborating with teammates; developing knowledge of relevant concepts and processes.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis, identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from data.
- 1 year of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- 2 years of experience with one or more of the following languages: SQL, R, Python, C .
- 1 year of experience with machine learning systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
About the Job:
The Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of Google products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and partners from abuse across various Google products. The role involves working globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to safeguard trust in Google and ensure the highest levels of user safety.
Responsibilities:
- Execute projects/investigations and cross-functional initiatives.
- Deliver improvements based on understanding of abuse drivers.
- Provide technical contributions to the team.
- Design and deliver strategic solutions at scale.
