Engineering Analyst, Trust and Safety
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis, identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from data.
- 1 year of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- 2 years of experience with one or more of the following languages: SQL, R, Python, C .
- 1 year of experience with machine learning systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
About the job:
The Trust & Safety team members are responsible for addressing the significant challenges that threaten the safety and integrity of products at Google. They utilize technical expertise, problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to safeguard users and partners from abuse across various Google products. As a member of this team, you will be a strategic thinker with a commitment to ethical practices. Collaborating globally and across functions with Google engineers and product managers, you will be involved in identifying and combatting abuse and fraud cases with urgency, thus enhancing trust in Google and ensuring user safety.
Responsibilities:
- Execute projects/investigations and cross-functional initiatives within Google, engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Enhance performance metrics by understanding abuse drivers and leveraging team members for optimal results.
- Contribute technically to the team, ensuring solutions align with existing product and backend infrastructures.
- Develop and implement large-scale cross-functional strategic solutions focusing on user safety, process enhancements, and a secure environment for advertisers.
