Job Summary: As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the SEO strategies for our company's online presence.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Keyword Research and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization.
- Analyze keyword trends and search volume to inform content strategies.
On-Page Optimization:
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and headers for search engines.
- Ensure high-quality and SEO-friendly content creation and optimization.
Off-Page Optimization:
- Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies such as link building and guest posting.
- Monitor and analyze backlink profiles and disavow toxic links when necessary.
Technical SEO:
- Conduct technical audits to identify and address website issues that impact SEO.
- Collaborate with developers to implement technical SEO recommendations.
Content Strategy:
- Work with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with target keywords.
- Optimize content for both users and search engines.
Performance Monitoring:
- Use SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO software) to track and report on website performance.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
Competitor Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies.
- Use competitive insights to refine SEO strategies.
Reporting:
- Generate regular reports on SEO performance and present findings to management.
- Make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Algorithm Updates:
- Stay informed about search engine algorithm updates and adapt strategies accordingly.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, content,
and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of online initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in SEO
- Proven experience in SEO with a track record of improving organic search rankings.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Moz.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Up-to-date with industry trends and algorithm updates.
- Certifications in SEO and digital marketing are a plus.
