Job Description Sales Manager
The Manager - Project Sales directly impacts customer satisfaction, productivity, and profitability. This position is considered a key contributor to overall company performance and is measured constantly against their project status and assigned performance KPI metrics.
- Ensures all customer requirements meet quoted specifications and client expectations to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Communicates with the client and internal team on status, issues, timing, and overall performance to requirements.
- Works closely with internal departments such as Production, purchase,
customer service and admin team to continually improve the level of services & increase the services on offer to customers.
- Provides technical support and advice when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent work experience) required.
- MBA in Marketing & Retail Sales is added advantage.
- Broad experience in a variety of project management and project leadership or coordination roles.
- Customer support experience preferred (5 + years)
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint & Social Media Marketing
- Attitude, ability and experience in customer-oriented project management are keys to being successful in this role.

- Strong project management and proven analytical problem-solving skills.
- Financial knowledge, customer negotiation experience, extensive communication skills.
- Solid technical aptitude, ability to influence, lead, and communicate with teams on critical tasks and deliverables – escalate when necessary.
- Proven success in forward thinking to adapt in frequently changing demands and priorities with short deadlines.
- Effective leadership, coaching, mentoring and team-building skills to delegate work to resources and communicate work requirements, expectations and standards.
- Successful in meeting deadlines, monitoring and assessing performance and utilizing appropriate resources to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills to share complex issues with all levels of the organization including the customer – impact the relationship in a positive way through difficult times.
- Ability to identify the issues and clearly communicate.
- Experience in negotiating tasks and responsibilities with resources.
- Identifying when you need help and asking for questions when needed to escalate.
- Organized and diligent when following-up on tasks and action items.
- Need to be able to communicate to all levels of team.
