Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Quality Analyst Engineer with over 8 years of experience in quality assurance, focusing on automation testing, scripting, and collaboration across various teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of coding, a strong understanding of testing methodologies,
and hands-on experience with SQL and Python scripting.
Responsibilities
• Test Automation : Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Test Planning and Execution : Create detailed, comprehensive, and well structured test plans and test cases.
• Functional Testing : Perform manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality product releases.
• SQL Testing: Write and execute SQL queries for testing database functionalities and validating data integrity.
• Scripting : Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate repetitive testing tasks and improve testing efficiency.
• Defect Tracking : Identify, track, and help resolve bugs across the development cycle using bug tracking tools.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to ensure timely and quality product deliveries.
• Continuous Improvement : Analyze test results, perform root cause analysis,
and implement continuous improvements in test processes.
• Coordination : Manage and collaborate with multiple teams to coordinate releases and ensure smooth integration of tested components.
Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong background in test automation (e.g., Selenium,) and automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and task automation.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for testing purposes.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance and security testing.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and version control tools (e.g., JIRA, Git).
• Ability to work across teams, managing multiple priorities and ensuring coordination between different stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in testing APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Experience in testing cloud-based applications or SaaS products.
