Head of Business Development
Location: Dubai/Nigeria/Tanzania
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, logistics coordination, and timely delivery within the warehousing network.
- Warehousing Expansion: Lead the strategic planning and execution of warehouse expansion projects, including site selection, facility design, and capacity optimization to support business growth.
- Drive Profit & Growth: Oversee the growth and profitability of the company in the Nigeria/Tanzania/Dubai region, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with current customers,
ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling.
- Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through strategic research, including channel partners, institutional clients, and FPOs.
- Networking: Attend and actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to connect with potential clients and partners.
- Regional Strategy: Develop and implement tailored strategies for regional operations to boost growth and market penetration.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in business development or sales in the Agri-Tech, Warehousing, Cold Storage, or Logistics sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong B2B marketing and lead generation skills.
- Must have good connects in Dubai/GCC region
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities.
- In-depth industry knowledge and market research capabilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to identify new opportunities
