Job Description:This role plays a pivotal part in the transformation journey of the overall finance function. The primary responsibilities encompass creating a roadmap for the finance transformation, automation and process improvement along with working on other responsibilities within team pertaining to overall planning and analysis for Max Life. It involves working independently with functional heads, determining key issues in integration of processes and data, to create a unified solution for FP&A.; As a part of diversified learning program, some of the ad-hoc requests pertaining to investor relations, business planning and monthly business analysis need to be addressed by the incumbent.
Key strategic priorities of the role are mentioned below (including but not limited to)-
1. Financial transformationa. Creating future roadmapb. Detailing around scope of work and business requirement documentc. Assessment and benchmarking of available solutions and implementation partnersd. Creating a detailed project plan clearly identifying the critical path for implementatione. Managing multiple stakeholders within the company and implementation partner, to ensure the smooth implementation, adhering to timelines
2. Monthly Reporting and analysis:a. Provide financial and analytical support to all levels of management across all functions through routine reporting and analysis of operating results and evaluate performanceb. Working closely with finance and actuarial counterparts to maintain accuracy and relevance of reportingc. Partnering with Channel leads/distribution partners to drive business plans
3. Investor Relations:a. Preparation of investor release decksb. Preparation for Earning callc. Monitor Market trendsd.
Tracking and coming up with insights on financial results of close competitors
4. Business Planning:a. Extend support in preparation of annual sales, product mix targets along with cost budgetb. Analysis of other financial parameters basis planning inputs
Preferred Qualification/Experience & Skills:Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance from reputed institute2-4 years of relevant experienceComfort with ambiguity and a willingness to work with a high degree of autonomyExcellent analytical skills: Able to structure and process qualitative and quantitative data and draw insightful conclusionsStrong Microsoft Power point and excel skillsDeadline driven and Detail orientedExcellent verbal and written communication skill
