Working with Oracle customers to:
- Assist with deployments of Exa Cloud at Customer
- Work with core and sustaining development teams to diagnose complex networking and OS problems
- Present best practices with engineering systems
- Implement clear strategies in cloud operational management
- Validate enhancement requests
Working Internally to:
- Test new releases of Exadata software and Firmware
- Contribute to white paper best practices
- Contribute to thought processes on new feature implementation
- Present a detailed understanding of new technologies
Responsibilities Personal Skills
- Highly effective communicator both in written and verbal forms. Both to the customer and internal communication.
- Patience
- Sense of sales imperatives
Technical Skills
- Internal knowledge of Inifiniband and ROCE
- Deep knowledge of Engineered Systems
- Understanding of cloud technologies
- Good knowledge of Oracle Database and Linux
- Performance tuning of all Exadata releases
- Overall knowledge of computing architectures
Qualifications
Work is non-routine and very complex,
involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in the area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
