Description
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our Applied Science Department. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Mathematics and a passion for teaching. This position requires a minimum of 5-15 years of experience in the relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver Mathematics lessons that meet the needs of our students
- Create and implement effective teaching strategies and techniques
- Develop course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
- Assist with curriculum development and program evaluation
- Provide individualized support to students to help them achieve their academic goals
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Mathematics education
- Participate in departmental and school-wide meetings and events
Skills and Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a related field
- Minimum of 5-15 years of teaching experience in Mathematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
- Familiarity with a variety of teaching methods and strategies
- Experience with curriculum development and program evaluation
- Experience working with diverse student populations
