- Coordinate Sales operations withthe other departments of theorganization.
- Develop and / or maintain andimprove business relations with all customers of theorganization.
- Responsible for targeting newcustomers and new sales opportunities initiate action plan toapproach and secure new business for theorganization.
- Any matter which may effect theinterests of Novotel Ahmedabad shouldbe brought to the attention of theManagement.
- Assist the Director of Sales& Marketing in the development of the Strategic Sales Planfor the organization.
- Assist the Director ofSales & Marketing to direct the Sales & Marketingdepartment to achieve objectives established in the OrganizationsStrategic Plan.
- Leadership skillsthat utilize persuasion and motivation to attainorganizational goals is the most desirable managementquality followed by honesty integrity ethical behavior tactfulnessopenness and culturalawareness.
Qualifications :
To fulfil this rolesuccessfully you should demonstrate the following minimumqualifications :
- Minimum of five (5)Years of Hotel Sales Catering or MarketingExperience.
- Fouryear college degreepreferred.
- Minimum Years of LeadershipExperience in a FullService Hotel : 5 star.
- Highly professionalpresentations and communication (oral and written)skills.
- Proficiency with standard MicrosoftOffice.
- Ability to perform criticalanalysis.
It would be helpful in thisposition for you to demonstrate the following capabilities anddistinctions :
- Additional / advanceddegree coursework in business administration marketing andcommunications.
- Adaptable experience withbusiness strategy business planning and business plandevelopment.
- Experience in large matrixorganizations.
- Knowledge of Opera Sales& Catering Software or comparableproducts.
