Job Title: Automation Test Engineer
Notice Period: Looking for immediate to 30 days' joiners

Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Automation Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on Java, Selenium, and SQL. You will be instrumental in enhancing our automation framework and ensuring the highest quality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to gather requirements and create detailed test plans.
- Execute automated tests, analyze outcomes, and report defects efficiently.
- Utilize SQL for backend validation and data verification.
- Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks for improved performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices in automation and testing.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on automation testing techniques and tools.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of a CI/CD pipeline to streamline testing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong expertise in automation testing tools, particularly Selenium WebDriver.
- Proficient in Java programming and familiar with Java testing frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit).
- Solid understanding of SQL for database testing and validation.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
- Understanding of cloud testing strategies and tools.
