Head of Operations

Role & Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans for secured and unsecured lending operations, aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth targets.

Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks to ensure the quality of the loan portfolio, including credit risk assessment, collateral valuation, and monitoring of key risk indicators. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.

Operating unit profitability according to the business plan, controlling branches' operating costs within budget to maintain cost control.





Aim for early break-even of all operating units and manage operating expenses (OPEX) as per the business plan.

Build and lead a high-performing team of lending professionals.

Drive field productivity and collection.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including borrowers, partners, regulators, and internal teams.

Independently coordinate with client teams, rating agencies, and peers in other banks/financial institutions to manage relationships.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance of lending operations and provide regular reporting and insights to senior management.

Oversee loan disbursement and documentation functions, including liaison with legal, compliance, and other teams.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.

Experience : Min 12 yrs of experience in Loan Against Property (LAP)

Deep understanding of lending products, processes, and regulations.







Expertise in credit risk management and underwriting.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
