JOB ROLE: MS SQL Server DBA / Microsoft SQL Server
Experience: 8+ years
Location: Chennai
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners preferred
Roles & Responsiblities:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree
- 8+ years of experience in a DBA role, primarily with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and later.
- 5+ years of experience on Oracle databases.
- 3+ years on PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Experience in OLTP environments and proficient in SQL server installations, administration, updates, and upgrades.
- Create and manage multiple databases, assist in capacity planning and monitor system's health and performance.
- Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security.
- Create and maintain High Availability (HA)
and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for SQL Server.
- Maintain data integrity and security (manage roles and permissions of database users).
- Develop strategies and implement solutions for managing back-ups, restoration, and replication.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes including diagrams of database infrastructure.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Great team player and time-management skills
- Strong experience in Azure, AWS and GCP public clouds
