We are developing an e commerce business and will be utilizing WordPress website, WooCommerce platform and WP affiliate plugin. We are seeking a detail-oriented project manager/coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements for our business needs, work with software developer and graphic designer as well as designing and executing test plans to ensure the system meets business needs and user expectations. This role requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of e-commerce functionalities to deliver a high-quality online shopping experience. Once the platform is ready then to make the necessary changes as required,
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, and end-users to gather and define requirements for the WooCommerce platform.
Create and maintain clear, concise documentation of requirements, user stories, and use cases related to the WooCommerce system.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on documented requirements for the WooCommerce platform.
Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure the platform operates according to specifications.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues, working closely with the development team for resolution.
Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate findings, gather feedback, and update stakeholders on progress.
Provide training and support to team members on best practices related to requirements gathering and testing.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation,
and software testing,
Familiarity with WordPress, WooCommerce , WP affiliate , CRM and different plugins including key features and functionalities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) is a plus.
Basic knowledge of web development languages (e.g., PHP, HTML, CSS) is beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
