Sales Manager
Through your passionand motivation you sell memorable experience to guests who stay inyour property. You are professional and knowledgeable about yourproperty and you build strong relationships and create bond withyour guests.
What you will bedoing:
- Solicit group transient and/orbanquet business and reach consistent achievement of salesobjectives
- Establish parameters quotes andnegotiate prices and seal contracts
- Participatein tradeshows conventions and promotionalevents
- Maintain accounts contact activity andbusiness details
- Plan a minimum of 2 siteinspections/entertainment meetings per week to qualified potentialaccounts or new accounts.
- Upsell crosssell andpromote Hotel facilities & services at every availableopportunity in order to maximize salesrevenue.
- Monitor competitors rate strategyaccount penetration and marketing activities to maintain acompetitive edge.
- Attend hotel clients andlocal community business events to network and maintain highvisibility.
- Develop business leads for theHotel on a weeklybasis.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skillsinclude:
- Relevant diploma / degree inHotel Management.
- Minimum 12 years experiencein similar capacity or at least 3 5 years of relevant industryexperience.
- Relevant sales experience is anasset.
- Ability to focus attention on guestneeds remaining calm and courteous at alltimes.
- Highly responsible &reliable.;
- Excellent communication skills bothwritten and verbal required
- Stronginterpersonal and problem solvingabilities
