MainDuties:
Administration
- Developand maintain accurate knowledge of current and potential salesaccounts to include business economics and travel needs; identifypotential new clients; know competitors sales strategies relativesales position and initiatives; and provide input that matchcustomers growth patterns and travelneeds.
- Utilize planning tools such as thepotential analysis and Strategic Sales Path or other group widesales systems and documents to plan individual client brand sharegrowth for Novotel.
- Responsible for developingrevenue and room night goals for the accounts within his/herportfolio and working within set parameters for cost per roomnight.
- Introduce and promote to client base allrelevant Accor marketing and salesprograms.
- Provides input on coop marketingopportunities with appropriate industrypartners
- Submit monthly and regular reports ona timely basis utilizing the standardformat.
- Identify and recommend opportunities togain a competitive advantage over competitors in the designatedmarketarea
CustomerService
- Ensures thedelivery of brand promise and provides exceptional service at alltimes to the guests.
- Handles all guest andinternal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous andefficient manner following through to make sure problems areresolved satisfactorily.
- Maintains positiveguest and colleague interactions with good workingrelationships.
Operational
- Assists inthe preparation of the Annual BusinessPlan.
- Works closely with other employees in asupportive and flexible manner focusing on the overall success ofthe hotel and the satisfaction of hotelguests.
- Ensures new technology and equipmentare embraced improving productivity whilst taking work out of thesystem
Other Duties
- Attendsand contributes to all training sessions and meetings asrequired.
- Exercises responsible behavior at alltimes and positively representing the hotelteam.
- Maintains strong professionalrelationship with the relevant representatives from competitorhotels business partners and otherorganizations.
- Reads the hotels EmployeeHandbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotelsrules and regulations and in particular the policies and proceduresrelating to computer resources fire hygiene health andsafety.
- Ensures high standards of personalpresentation and grooming.
- Responds to changesin the Sales & Marketing as dictated by the industrycompany and hotel.
- Carries out any otherreasonable duties and responsibilities asassigned.

- To ensure thatall employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to thehotels policy relating to fire hygiene health andsafety.

Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in sales& marketing or related field
Proactive selfmotivated loves challenges
A minimum of 3 years ofrelevant work experience in a 5 star Hotel and preferably 1 year atsimilar position
Excellent communication skills
The ability to achieve sales targets and work in a highlypressurized environment
Passion to lead and a desire tosucceed
