Global Business Services
Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI),
a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.
Process Overview
Banking and Lending product Technology team is responsible for all Retail and Preferred products catering to Retail and Preferred customers clients. The products include Credit Cards for Retail as well as Small Business customers, Deposits, Consumer Lending and Client Underwriting (including Vehicle Loans and Home Loans).
This team performs application development, testing (functional and automation), design/architecture and business analysis functions to deliver the technology solutions through robust and scalable application platforms developed on various technologies such as WebMethods, Mulesoft, Java/J2EE, Angular, Mainframe, and DB2.
Shared Integration and Data services team provides middleware services,
batch integration services, and letter composition services for credit card and deposit applications.
Responsible for development, support, maintenance, and implementation of a project and initiatives. Works as a guide and sets directions for medium-sized projects, may lead special initiatives. Ensure low downtime for systems and related services. Role can find out new methods and processes to approach complex situations in the SIPH. Requires expert knowledge on WebMethods Webservices Technologies, Design principles, and service-oriented architecture. Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge and technical/proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise while adapting standard principles.
Responsible for design and development of Solutions for ongoing initiatives as a part of Scrum Team, work closely with Scrum Master and Product Owner to understand the use cases and stories, implement the code, test it, and support the implementation to Production. Actively participate in all the scrum routines and discussions.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Scrum Master and Product Owner to understand the requirements and stories.
- Actively participate in all agile routines for the Scrum team.
- Design, Develop, Test, Document the solution and support production implementation.
- Self-motivated and quick learner who can take full ownership of designs from concept to support.
- Understand stakeholders expectations and objectives.
- Work independently; Require less oversight/assistance.
- Coordinate with other dependent teams or applications to implement the solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our software solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of domain and application with a focus on challenges and opportunities.
- Understand enterprise-wide standards and guidelines and implement it in solutions.
- Ensure all internal processes, procedures, and policies are effectively enforced.
- Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provide tech knowledge and capabilities as a team member and individual contributor.
Requirements
- Work experience as a WebMethods Developer.
- Experience working with Software AG Webmethods Product suite like Enterprise Gateway Server,
Integration Server, Trading Networks, JDBC Adapters, Deployer, Designer, etc.
- Experience with flow services, java services, adapter services, publish/subscribe, and request/response model.
- Extensive work experience in Webservices (REST/SOAP/JSON/XML and XSD schema).
- Good understanding of SQL and ability to write SQL queries in DB2, Oracle, or any other database.
- Experience working in JAVA.
- Good to have experience in migration projects.
- Familiarity with using version control technologies such as git, sv, or JIRA.
- Experience in DevOps and Agile methodology.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and patterns.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
