JR47096 Staff Solution Architect, SMAI
Solution Architects will partner with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to architect scalable and innovative data science solutions in various technology domains such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Big Data, or Internet of Things (IoT) using both on prem and cloud-based platforms.
In this role,
you will need to be technically sound and capable of crafting innovative end-to-end designs to solve complex business problems. We are looking for team members who love learning and introducing new technologies to build solutions that drive value for the business. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working as a data engineer supporting data science or sophisticated analytics solutions, preferably in both on prem and cloud-based infrastructures. You will have the ability to dive deep into various hands-on solutions while developing new skills, so you can make strong contributions to architecture transformation decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and architect scalable production-ready advanced analytic, big data and data science solutions.
Implement solutions that eliminate or minimize technical debt through a well-designed architecture, data model, and lifecycle.
Bring together and share best-practice knowledge among the data science and solution architect community.
Coach, mentor, and help develop data engineers and data scientist.
Qualifications and Experience
5+ years in designing & developing advanced big data analytics solutions using Cloud data analytics, Snowflake and Apache Spark
10+ years experience in crafting and developing database architecture, DWBI & Data Science solutions.
3+ years of cloud experience preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in designing, large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more of Cloud data and analytics services in combination with 3rd parties such as Snowflake, Apache Spark etc.
Strong experience in Python and Java programming languages.
Experience in designing, developing and operationalizing AI/ML and deep learning models will be an added advantage.
Experience in MLOps will be an added advantage.
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with management and developers.
Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional groups, with diverse interests and requirements, to a common objective.
Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
Good communication skills, with a track record of significant direct interaction and peer leadership with partners across the company
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
Education
Masters/bachelor's in computer science background highly desired
