We are looking for an Sr. Accountant who is extremely organised and driven. In this position, you will be in charge of making sure that accounts receivable and payable transactions are completed on time and accurately while also making a positive impact on the organization's overall financial health.
- Roles and Responsibilities
Own and drive the accounting function (Record-to-Report).
- Ensuring compliance with applicable statutes and laws (GST, TDS, ESI, PF, Income Tax, Advance Tax)
Performing ledger scrutiny, Debtors/Creditors Reconciliation.
- Internal Audit and checking of work done to ensure accuracy and detect revenue leakage or operational deficiencies.
Inventory control, Physical stock taking and reconciliation with Tally,
Inventory optimization, Reorder level, Optimum stock level maintenance.
- Operational MIS reports for management control and decision making.
Provide support for finalization of the Company's balance sheet and statutory/tax audit.
- Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation.
- Establishes financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analysing, verifying, and reporting financial information, and managing accounting staff.
Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.
Process invoices and payments accurately and efficiently, maintaining detailed records and ensuring timely collection of receivables.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts,
reporting discrepancies and resolving any issues.
Manage accounts payable, processing vendor invoices and making timely payments.
- Stay up-to-date on accounting best practices and regulations, adapting procedures as needed.
Maintain a professional and positive attitude, working effectively as part of a team.
- Reconcile financial statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
Monitor cash flow and forecast financial trends.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Supervise and mentor junior members of the finance team.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and goals.
- Requirements:
Semi-Qualified CA or Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (D.U. preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting/finance
Proficiency in accounting software(tally) and spreadsheets.
- Strong time management skills.
Strategic account planning and execution skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
