Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and grow sales across offline retail channels (Modern Trade, Liquor Stores, Pharma). The role involves managing a team of 8 Area Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and Promoters to ensure targets are met, key account relationships are nurtured, and distributors are effectively serviced. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing collections, ensuring smooth cash flow, and providing insights on promotional strategies to increase secondary off-take from store shelves.This role requires a motivated leader with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales management.

Key Responsibilities:







- Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives and increase market share.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success and accountability.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients & key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly track and report sales performance metrics, preparing reports to share insights and recommendations with senior management.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.






- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to align offline strategies and enhance product offerings.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage sales budget and responsible for monitoring collections from all markets.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in new-age start-up or FMCG sales, with some experience managing a team.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive team performance.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in sales reporting, analysis, and dashboard creation
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.






- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel and be on the field.
