Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in automating infrastructure and application processes using tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, YAML, and APIs . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing automation scripts, playbooks, and related configurations from scratch, enabling seamless infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and orchestration in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Ansible playbooks and automation scripts from the ground up.
- Automate infrastructure and application provisioning using Terraform for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Write clean and efficient code in Python to automate repetitive tasks and processes.
- Utilize YAML for configuration management and creating structured playbooks.
- Leverage APIs to integrate third-party services and create robust automation workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
- Maintain and optimize existing automation frameworks, ensuring they meet evolving business needs.
- Provide support for automation deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure that all automated processes are documented thoroughly for future reference and updates.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automation scripting and infrastructure management using Ansible , Terraform , Python , and YAML .
- Deep understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and ability to automate provisioning processes.
- Proficient in developing and managing APIs for automation purposes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in creating reliable automation scripts.
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab .
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes .
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and integrating automation into existing workflows.
