We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with experience in accounting and bookkeeping, managing audits, tax filings and payroll services. This is a 100% remote role. Work-from-home mothers will be preferred.
Key responsibilities will be as under (this will be for startup entities generally):
Bookkeeping and Accounting:
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry for all financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Tax Filings:
- Prepare and file all statutory tax returns, including Income Tax, GST, and other applicable taxes.
- Ensure timely payment of all taxes and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Liaise with tax authorities and manage any tax-related inquiries or disputes.
Payroll Services:
- Oversee the processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Manage employee benefits, deductions, and other payroll-related transactions.
- Prepare payroll reports and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to clients as needed.
