Position: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Purchase
Experience: 10-12 Years
Education: B.Tech in ME/Mechatronics Diploma
Diploma
Salary: 7-9 LPA
Location: Santej, Ahmedabad
Role and Responsibility: -
Skills :
Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records,
and related documentation.
Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
Managing the maintenance of office/manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system.
KRA :
Reduce materials costs to the lowest levels consistently.
Develop statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.
Assessing project material requirements and designing purchase schedule.
Purchasing policy and planning. Formulating budget for timely
increase in internal customer satisfaction score
Delivery cycle time reduction
Reduction in number of complaints from internal/external customers Procurement
Project supplies completed in sequence
Timely placement of all orders as per schedule
Timely delivery of purchase order as per requirement of project
Cost savings in capital items procurement over the budget through negotiations
Reduction in inventory of non-moving items
Reduction in no. of stockouts
