Manager - Consulting Support in the MMB Benefits You (Health Operations) team. .

What can you expect?

We are looking to hire a Manager - Consulting Support in the MMB Benefits You (Health Operations) team. This is an individual contributor role.

This role provides expert advice and coordinated delivery of global and regional solutions for its most valued local and multinational organizations. The team works with clients to address the health of their employees developing strategies to improve access to care, outcomes of care and prevention.





Solutions focus on delivery of population health management and health management programs that support employee engagement and key business objectives.
The purpose of the position is to support the global client revenue targets and overall Mercer’s global strategy by supporting the foundational initiatives of the Workforce Health consulting team and delivering on key client local and global projects. This role is focused on coordination and delivery of health and well-being projects.

This role requires a local and global view across multiple geographies, a strong desire to learn and understanding of quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques and applications. Client and consulting experience is mandatory as the role will be expected to maintain a level of autonomy within the project management team, and be proactive in seeking guidance as needed. Given the frequent work across lines of business and working in multiple geographies the role necessitates resourceful and collaborative behavior.





Healthcare is a dynamic arena and we would expect the applicant to be engaged and articulate on major global health issues confronting employers. Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills preferred.

We will count on you to:

Client Facing

- Work with a team of colleagues (global and local health consultants) to support them in the execution of complex client engagements, including managing overall service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, procurements, implementations, and ongoing monitoring
- Gather client, internal and third party data and information from disparate sources and consolidate (e.g., well-being program offerings from multiple countries)






- Compile and synthesize health data from claims, public health data sets, Mercer data sets, etc
- Utilize appropriate internal tools in the development and execution of client work (e.g., HERO Scorecard, RFI database, survey data)
- Manipulate an analyze client, internal and third party data and draw conclusions and create exhibits
- Drafting design-quality presentation (in Microsoft Power Point), journals, studies, etc. for global health consulting projects, client strategy sessions and sales opportunities
- Develop surveys and other tools using software such as Qualtrics or Smartsheets to gather information from clients, internal and third parties. Preferred
- Conduct desktop research to collect needed information to support projects,





such as local health care regulations and offerings or benchmarks

Operations Support

- Develop and maintain complex Excel models and tools to support data analysis, reporting, and decision-making processes.
- Automate manual tasks and processes in Excel and PowerPoint using macros, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), or other automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Analyze large datasets and generate meaningful insights to support business decisions.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on Excel automation techniques.
- Stay updated on the latest Excel features and automation tools to continuously enhance efficiency and effectiveness.






- Manage relationship with Business Process Owners in multiple geographies and Senior Management
- Project management, work allocation, real-time capacity management, peer review, process training and development of team members
- Develop client engagement strategy materials for Industry, including client-specific relationship maps and planned touchpoints and materials
- Driving Process Improvement Initiatives and delivering results in line with Business Priorities
- Incorporate compliance and professional standards into all work processes, including peer review
- Coordinate with stakeholders both in multiple geographies
- Communicate with stakeholders regularly on the progress and status of deliverables assigned

What you need to have:







Knowledge & Skills:

- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in healthcare domain including insurance billing
- Strong understanding and proper usage of health and well-being related terminologies in written and verbal communication in English
- Exposure to employer-based health and benefits space, Preferred
- Strong Project Management skills
- Proven experience in developing complex Excel models and tools, including automation using macros, VBA, or other automation tools.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (proficient at Power Point), research and analytical skills, Strong hold on MS Excel (medium to advance level), working experience on Smartsheets, Qualtrics
- Ability to multitask,





manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment, ensuring standards and deadlines are met and keeping others informed and up-to-date
- Experience in identifying, designing, recommending and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to employers' complex population health management challenges
- Capacity to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships with peers
- Capability to manage and deliver work in a timely fashion
- Proactive communication and project management with internal and client related projects
- Critical thinking skills and ability to understand the bigger picture of where their work product fits in to meet the clients’ needs
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, business communication, and time management skills






- Work with colleagues, clients and vendors through email and teleconference
- Stay up to date with industry standard best practices
- Health background is preferred
