Business Development Executive - Government Sales

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Position Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive with medium-level experience to expand our client base and increase sales revenue.





The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of winning projects through freelancer platforms, establishing partnerships through technical collaboration, and reaching out to large companies for outsourcing opportunities. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently and in collaboration with our team to achieve our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Tender Management: Lead the end-to-end process of government tender submissions, including preparation, submission, and post-submission follow-up.
- Government Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government agencies and decision-makers to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Experience in B2G Services and Products.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of government procurement policies, market trends, and upcoming tenders to identify strategic opportunities.
- Proposal Development:





Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling and compliant proposals that address the needs and requirements outlined in government tenders.
- Tender Portals Knowledge: Utilize and navigate various government tender bidding portals effectively to identify and manage opportunities.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to increase the company’s visibility and competitiveness in the government sector.
- Compliance: Ensure all tender submissions meet government regulations, standards, and deadlines.
- Reporting: Track and report on tendering activities, success rates, and pipeline status to senior management.
- Client Engagement: Engage with potential government clients to understand their needs and provide tailored IT solutions that align with their objectives.

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of proven experience in business development and sales,





specifically in the IT industry.
- Demonstrated success in winning projects through freelancer platforms and other online marketplaces.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Technical background or knowledge of IT services and solutions is a plus.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field such as B.Tech is required.
- MBA in Sales, Marketing, would be a plus.
