Job Description
The company is currently looking for a Head of Department- Mold Manufacturing who will oversee the manufacturing of various molds, fixtures, and inspection gauge components, ensuring adherence to accepted quality standards while optimizing resource utilization.
- Hands on experience and good control over the Manufacturing processes
- Monitor and guide the people for all kinds of elements manufacturing with High precision Electrodes.
-Design & Mfg., Injection molds, Insert Molds, Jigs & Fixtures, using CNC Milling, CNC Wire EDM, CNC SEDM, Machining Centers and other Precision Tool room Machines.
-CNC Programing and Machining for High precision components production with hands on experience on High precision CNC Turning Centres, Milling Centres, Turn-mill Centres with FANUC control Macro A and Macro B Programming.
-Support people from CAD/CAM section for 3D modelling, Drafting and CAM using UniGraphics, Auto CAD.
- Program Documents & Data Management support / Guidance.
-Program Documents & Data Management for the NC Code generation for CNC Machining Centers, EDMs, WEDMs.
-Managing overall operations in Manufacturing, Planning, Human resource management, Supply Chain.
-Effective Customer Order Management, Resource and material Planning, Decisions and implementation, Systematic Capacity Planning, cost economics work out.
-Periodic Performance reviews, assessment & actions plans for its optimization.
-Creating & Ensuring SOPs and Norms for effective utilization of resources like men and machine.
-Devising, implementing & maintaining Quality systems, documentation like Control plan, FMEA Customer Quality Feedback Management, Root cause analysis, Reviews, Action Plans and Implementation and conducting quality audits.
-Implementing process modifications to improve - Yield, Quality, Productivity & Cost reduction.
- Process Planner/Engineering
-Process Planner / Engineering Design - for high precision Tool elements manufacturing with experience in Process Design & Documentation.
-Strategic planning with good experience in new product development, Out-sourcing, Process optimization & control and standardizing production norms.
- Coordination with stakeholders (customer departments)
-Coordination with customer departments for the new Projects Management for prove out and delivery of Molds / Jigs & Fixtures.
-Gap Analysis for the challenges in manufacturing with market, strategies planning, facility & Team building.
-Vendor Base Development - Outsourcing for Capability and Capacity enhancement.
-Concept development, CDR, PDR, QTP Product Reviews, Technical reviews and customer coordination.
-Capacity & Resource Planning and allocation and Delivery Management.
-Make or outsource decisions Identifying and development of outsource for specific requirement.
-Status Reviews and Actions on deadlines
Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering or BE, B. Tech,
Mechanical engineering / Production Engineering
- 20 Years experience for Diploma holders and 15 years experience for BE graduates in managing high precision Tool room with different set of machines for Injection Mold elements manufacturing and proving or similar area experience
- Good knowledge in Precision Plastic Insert Injection Mold manufacturing and proving.
- Strategic planning and utilization of resources.
- Effective man management, development of experts in the relevant field.
- Provide solutions to technical problems and cost optimization in mold manufacturing.
- Good analytical skills
