Looking for an Automation/Manual Test Engineer on Contractual basis for a company located in Europe/US. This is a Tele-Working/Work from Home opportunity from India, base location Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

You show discernment, attention to details, and want to evolve quickly. Your primary focus will be on creating and maintaining test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other related tools. You will work closely with the development and quality assurance teams to identify test requirements,
develop test cases, and implement test automation solutions. Additionally, you will analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.
Your main responsibilities:
- Preparation of standard Test scenarios together with product management, development, and delivery teams, working closely with Development Team
- Run tests on various components and features to identify and fix technical and functional issues.
- Design test scenarios to ensure 100% coverage of requirements; Prepare test cases to test the identified scenarios, report defects and manage the Testing process.
- Support software development workflow redefinition by involving yourself in the Scrum process and enforcing standardization measures.
- Design, develop,
and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related tools/frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather test requirements and understand application functionality.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Continuously enhance and optimize test automation frameworks and processes.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree / BE/B-Tech or equivalent in a technical field with 2-5 years of experience in Automation Testing
- Strong knowledge on Testing Process and Methodologies.
- Strong experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C#
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, BDD, Cucumber
- Understanding of API testing and tools like Postman.
- Good working knowledge of agile development processes
- Knowledge on Defect management tool like JIRA
- Team spirit, strong analytical skills, attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with excellent level of proficiency in written English.
