Position Summary
This position will involve being hands-on and having strong knowledge of Manual & Automation Testing techniques, with an aptitude or interest in learning new technologies. The role will involve participating in scrums and other agile ceremonies, picking up testing of user stories and bugs in a fast paced environment. You must be experienced at analyzing complex issues and working with developers and product team members to ensure a thorough approach to testing and a strong understanding of the technical changes. This position is for Night Shift only (7PM till 3AM IST). The right candidate will be skilled at:
- Documenting high quality test cases
- Participating in regression phases
- A questioning mindset to identify and report issues
- Strong documentation of issues with clear ownership
- Proven experience is creating and delivering the Test Strategy.
- Can guide and troubleshoot within an established and high performing team.
- Excellent communication skills, systematic and creative problem-solving skills.
Skills Required
- Testing Experience with a good understanding of Software Test Lifecycle including Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Cases Design, Test Data Setup, Defect Management, Test log, Test results, Test Traceability Matrix, and Test Metrics.
- Proficiency with any of these testing frameworks and libraries: Jest (or similar, like Karma or Jasmine), Mocha, Chai, Sinon, CucumberJS, BDD, Gherkin, WebDriver IO, CI/CD tools like docker, Jenkins, code hosting & version control tools like Github.
- Code and implement automated tests, design & maintain automation frameworks.
- Handle multiple project releases.
- Strong Leadership,
presentation and communication skills Strong understanding of Agile methodology.
- Hands-on experience in Functional, System and Regression Testing, Excellent bug writing skills.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like J-meter.
- Should be well versed in API testing.
- Execute both manual and automated test scripts.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
