*Job Description:*

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Dispatch Officer to join our team in the edible oil industry in Onitsha, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dispatch operations, particularly with loose tankers and bulk cars, as well as experience in commercial business operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient, timely, and accurate delivery of our products while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- *Dispatch Management* : Oversee all dispatch operations for loose tankers and bulk cars,





ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of edible oil products to customers and distribution points.

- *Team Leadership*: Supervise and mentor dispatch staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- *Logistics Coordination:* Collaborate with logistics and transportation teams to optimize delivery routes and schedules, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness in operations.

- *Customer Engagement:* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries, managing expectations, and providing solutions to enhance satisfaction.

- *Inventory Oversight:* Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure adequate product availability for dispatch while minimizing wastage.

- *Documentation Management:* Prepare and maintain all necessary shipping documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

- *Performance Analysis:* Monitor and analyze dispatch performance metrics,





identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

- *Safety and Compliance:* Ensure all dispatch activities adhere to safety regulations and quality standards, particularly regarding the transport of liquid bulk products.

*Qualifications:*

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in dispatch or logistics management, with a focus on loose tankers and bulk cars, preferably in the edible oil or FMCG sector.
- Proven experience in commercial business operations, with a strong understanding of customer relationship management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving,





and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
