Job Description
- An energetic person who is capable of working as part of team & perform validation of New product development and/or sustaining programs
- Deliver the product with quality
- Develop test cases around the requirements & improve test efficiency by automation
- QA Engineer supporting the continued design, development, and quality delivery of firmware & software applications for the HVACR domain products at Carrier Corporation
- Basic knowledge on HVAC. Basic knowledge on Hardware Simulation
- Programming aptitude and knowledge of atleast one programming language i.e. C, C++, Python
- Create manual test cases/automation test scripts ,
Document and Execute the test cases that conform to the technical and functional specifications for Firmware and Software applications
- Document and present test results as per the QA policies and procedures
- Good understanding of SDLC, defect life cycle
- Experience in understanding requirements traceability matrix & and also validate system interface at consumer level
- Experience in automation testing and hands-on in utilizing appropriate automation framework
- Experience in testing different communication protocols such as, RS232, RS485, TCP/IP, BACnet, Modbus etc.
