POSITION- TEAM LEAD
Must possess a Microsoft Power BI certification., PL 300 CERTIFIED
Key Responsibilities:
- Power BI Development :
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Create data visualizations that effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into Power BI solutions.
- SQL Expertise :
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
- Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
- Work with databases to manage and manipulate data as needed for reporting.
- Data Modeling :
- Develop and maintain data models in Power BI, ensuring they align with business requirements.
- Design and implement schemas to support data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Collaboration and Support :
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Provide training and support to end-users to help them leverage Power BI effectively.
- Documentation :
- Document processes, data sources, and data models to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.
- Create user manuals and guides for dashboards and reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI development.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SQL, including advanced querying, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Technical Skills :
- Proficient in Power BI, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Exposure to data schema design and implementation.
- Soft Skills :
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their BI services.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced analytics
