Your Gig: Do you have it in you to be our "Assistant Finance Manager"?

At Novatr, we rely on a meticulous financial system to drive our business forward. As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will be a crucial member of our finance team and will be responsible for overseeing the functions across India and ROW operations. You will be assisting in the development and execution of financial strategies that support our business goals. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing financial processes in a multi-jurisdictional context and driving improvements that support our global objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence financial decisions and contribute to the company's success in a highly collaborative,
fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with IGAAP/ Ind AS and US GAAP. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for both regions.
- Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure reliable financial reporting.
Regularly review and update controls to address regulatory requirements and business risks in both India and the US.
- Compliance Management: Oversee compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in India and the US, including tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and other legal obligations. Manage tax filings and coordinate with regional tax advisors and auditors.
- Audit Coordination: Facilitate internal and external audits in both regions. Provide necessary documentation, address audit findings, and implement corrective actions to enhance financial controls and practices.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and standardization across financial operations in both regions. Develop and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Financial Analysis and Planning:
Support the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans that align with the company’s objectives in India and the US. Conduct detailed financial analyses to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Business Finance Support: - Capital Expenditures: Assist in evaluating and managing capital expenditure projects. Ensure alignment with strategic goals and assess financial viability. - Revenue Management: Support revenue recognition processes and manage pricing strategies to optimize profitability. - Cost Management: Analyze and manage operating costs to drive cost-efficiency and enhance profitability.
- Risk Management: Monitor and assess financial risks with a global perspective.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and protect the company's financial health across both regions.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to finance team members. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance department.
- Global Strategy Support: Align financial activities with the company’s global strategy and objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support global projects.
YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
- You are a CA. Additional qualifications like CPA , CS will be highly preferred.
- You have 3-4 years of experience in finance or accounting roles. Experience
- managing financial controls, compliance, and audits in both Indian and US contexts is
- essential.
- You have in-depth knowledge of IGAAP, Ind AS, US GAAP, and international financial
- regulations.
- You are proficient in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, Tally) and advanced Excel
- skills.
- You have a deep knowledge of financial control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic
- environment.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work
- effectively across different regions.
