About the Job:
We are looking for experienced Software Development Manager to lead and manage a team of developers in designing, developing and delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing software development projects,
delivering high-quality solutions, have a deep understanding of Power Platform and Dynamics 365 and fostering a collaborative team environment. This role will involve overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and expected to have experience in application development in financial services industry and utilizing Power Platform, Dynamics 365 .
What you will be doing:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software developers, providing guidance on best practices, architecture, and design.
- Set clear goals and objectives for the team, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from planning to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and resources while balancing quality and client requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that software solutions align with their needs.
- Ensure software development follows best practices, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
- Lead architecture and design discussions, helping teams make strategic technical decisions.
- Lead the implementation of Model Driven Applications on Power Platform , ensuring they meet business requirements and align with best practices.
- Have thorough technical knowledge in .NET technologies, including Visual Studio, C#, ASP.Net, Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest software development technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of software products.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the software development team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues, updates, and deliverables.
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders clearly and proactively.
- Collaborate with other teams such as QA, DevOps, and IT to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
What we are looking for:
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale software projects on time and within budget.
- Hands-on experience in leading teams using agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, data structures,
and algorithms.
- Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, Model Driven Applications and Dynamics 365.
- Experience with integration to 3rd party applications.
- Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Typescript, C#, or others).
- Experience with cloud platforms where Azure knowledge preferable.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Bachelor Degree in IT, BTech, Computer Science.
