Role Overview: We're seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our data infrastructure. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and maintaining our centralized data platform, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization, both through providing reliable and accurate data to decision makers as well as automating key decisions and processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for replication and synchronization
- Develop and maintain data architecture that supports our AI platform, production ML, and analytics needs
- Convert data science prototypes into production-ready solutions
- Ensure data quality, security, and performance across multiple environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data solutions
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related field
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., GCP, BigQuery)
- Expertise in data pipeline development (e.g., Apache Beam, Argo/Airflow/dbt)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, version control)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience supporting ML/AI use cases in production
- Knowledge of streaming data processing
- Familiarity with modern AI tools (e.g., LangChain, Qdrant)
- Experience with microservices architecture (fastapi, grpc)
