Job Title: Head of Molding Department
- Location: Coimbatore, India
- Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Molding Department to lead our manufacturing operations in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in molding operations, with a strong background in managing teams and optimizing production processes.
- Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the molding department, ensuring efficient production processes and timely delivery of products.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness within the department.
Oversee the scheduling of production activities,
ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to production timelines.
- Lead and mentor a team of molding technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Collaborate with other department heads and stakeholders to streamline cross-functional processes and achieve organizational goals.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines and procedures.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to molding operations.
- Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in molding operations, preferably in a leadership role.
Strong technical knowledge of molding processes, equipment, and materials.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and driving operational excellence.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficiency in computer applications related to production planning and control.
- Experience working in the automotive or plastics manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
