Job Description:

Position Overview:

As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of digital marketing while supporting the social media efforts of our organization. Under the guidance of the marketing team, you will assist in creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and analyzing campaign performance to enhance brand awareness and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and implementation of social media marketing strategies to promote brand awareness, drive traffic, and increase engagement across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.







Create and curate content for social media posts, including graphics, videos, and written copy, that align with brand voice, tone, and visual identity.

- Schedule and publish social media posts using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social, ensuring consistency and timeliness.

Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond promptly to inquiries, comments, and feedback in a professional and engaging manner.

- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content creation and campaign strategies.

Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to increase follower growth, engagement, and reach.

- Collaborate with the design team to create visual assets and multimedia content for social media posts, including graphics, videos, and animations.

Analyze social media metrics and performance data using analytical tools such as Google Analytics,





Facebook Insights, or Instagram Insights, and prepare reports summarizing key findings and insights.

- Stay updated on emerging trends, features, and best practices in social media marketing, and share insights and recommendations with the team.

Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed, including organizing files, tracking expenses, and coordinating meetings or events.

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Strong interest in digital marketing, particularly social media marketing, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,





with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content for social media platforms.

Creativity and a keen eye for design, with basic knowledge of graphic design principles and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).

- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and understanding of their features, algorithms, and best practices.

Basic understanding of analytics and performance tracking tools to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

- Enthusiasm, initiative,





and a positive attitude, with a willingness to take on new challenges and tasks.

Prior experience in social media marketing, content creation, or related fields through internships, coursework, or extracurricular activities is a plus but not required.
