Need 4+ years Senior Full Stack Developer with backend and frontend expertise.
Technology preferred - Python, Django, React, MongoDB, Flask, JS
Responsible for:
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
Implementation of security and data protection
- Integration of data storage solutions may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
Leading the design, development, and maintenance of the Virtual Lab's cloud-based content publishing platform and other websites
- Developing and deploying automated test frameworks.
Leading the design, development, and maintenance of the Virtual Lab's cloud-based content publishing platform and other websites
- Analysis and improvement of the websites on the criteria of Usability, Accessibility, Performance, etc
Ensuring the delivery of robust, bug-free, scalable, and modular code
- Collaborating with and managing the Virtual Labs team members and interns
Collecting, monitoring, and improving on the various usage statistics of the Websites
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience as a Python/Full Stack developer
Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django, Flask, etc depending on your technology stack
- Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries
Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
Good understanding of server-side templating languages Ex: Jinja 2, Mako, etc depending on your technology stack
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Understanding of accessibility and security compliance depending on the specific project
- Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN
- Make sure to mention other frameworks, libraries, or any other technology related to your development stack
List education level or certification you require
- Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
Understanding of the architecture and working of the Internet covering all aspects of content hosting, sharing, delivery, and presentation
- Good understanding of the latest trends in web development like static site generation, server-side rendering, PWA, etc.
Familiarity with and hands-on experience with popular JS animation, graph libraries and development tools
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with Cloud-based deployment models
