JOB TITLE Senior Quantity Surveyor, Civil (Infrastructure) - Ahmedabad
ROLE
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team and carry out all quantity surveying activities on our aviation-related civil engineering infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of quantity surveying principles,
local project requirements, government regulations, and industry best practices. Their expertise will be invaluable in developing accurate and reliable priced/unpriced Bills of Quantities and estimates.
KEY COMPETENCY – Technical Skills
- Develop comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for aviation-related civil engineering projects, including roads, utilities, bridges, and other infrastructure works. Ensure accurate measurement and estimation of items and quantities by carefully analyzing project specifications and drawings.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns for all project components during different project completion stages.
- Update and maintain cost databases with relevant information.
KEY COMPETENCY – Soft Skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard software, such as Bluebeam Revu, REVIT, AutoCAD & MS office.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, CPWD and MORTH publications and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of relevant infrastructure construction regulations and standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities
- Technical competence in preparing Bill of Quantities and cost estimates for diverse aviation-related civil engineering projects and able to deliver work and integrate with larger project teams.
- Clear knowledge of work procedures and responsibility for completion of projects to time and cost.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines ensuring that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Communicating with the counterpart in the lead office/Client and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to understand project requirements and obtain necessary information.
- Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors, providing them with the necessary training and support to develop their skills.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 12-14 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation in infrastructure works related to aviation sector
- Experience working on aviation projects is preferred.
