Role: - DevOps Engineer - Immediate Joiners
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 4years+
Notice Period: 1 Week to 15 Days / Immediate
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer who will play a pivotal role in automating and improving our software development, deployment, and infrastructure management processes.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud platforms, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable, robust, and secure infrastructure. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with software engineers, system operators, and other technical staff to manage code releases and deployments efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage cloud-based infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Automation: Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline operations, from configuration management to code deployment.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring and alert systems (using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.) to proactively identify and resolve system and application issues.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle, focusing on automating tasks and improving team efficiency.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices in all areas of DevOps, including securing infrastructure, managing secrets, and ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to manage microservices architecture.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or similar roles.
- Cloud Expertise: Proven experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services.
- Automation Tools: Proficient with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible,
Puppet, or Chef.
- CI/CD Experience: Solid understanding and experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Scripting Languages: Strong programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Monitoring & Logging: Experience with modern monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and logging systems (e.g., ELK stack).
- Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a team player attitude.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with security protocols and tools, such as IAM, firewalls, and encryption.
