About the role:
A Junior Project Manager typically supports senior project managers and helps ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Being bilingual can be a significant advantage, especially in roles that require communication with diverse teams or clients from different linguistic backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- With direction from the project or implementation manager, establish and facilitate technical conference calls for project delivery technical resources and client resources.
- Helping to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Ensure all required resources are present on the bridge and maintain a log of all activities performed
- Distribute and review Method of Procedure (MoP) with appropriate resources
- Monitor the completion of the MoP. Coordinate resources for “roll back” activities when implementation/migration activities cannot be completed
- Immediately escalate critical risks or issues to the project or implementation manager as per the project plan or MoP
- Participate in project meetings internal and external as required
- Provide minutes and other required documentation to the project or implementation manager following the completion of each bridge
- Identify opportunities for optimization or improvement to the project or implementation manager
Technology skills (Mandatory):
- Proficient in Office 365 (Microsoft Excel, Word and PPT), min of 1 year of experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working and leading in a customer-facing team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to solicit cooperation and resolve conflict Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
1. At least 1+ years' experience.
2. Completion of at least one year of post-secondary education.
3. Completion of a project management foundation certificate.
4. Bilingual Proficiency (English & French) if available.
Working Conditions:
working mainly at night during Eastern Time Zone. Between 5PM EST to 5AM EST (late night shift) – Mon to Fri
