About the role
Responsible for developing and maintaining software applications in a cloud-based environment. They design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-based applications that meet the needs of customers and stakeholders. They also collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that applications are scalable, secure, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
Core Technical Skills
• Cloud Platforms : In-depth knowledge of Google cloud platform (GCP) and its core services.
• Programming Languages :
Proficiency in languages like Python or JavaScript for backend development.
• AI/ML : Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), model development, training, and deployment. Understanding of AI/ML algorithms and their applications in cloud environments.
• Data Structures and Algorithms : Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms for efficient problem-solving.
• DevOps Practices : Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Microservices Architecture : Understanding of microservices principles and experience in designing and building microservices-based applications.
• Containerization : Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Security : Understanding of cloud security best practices, including encryption, IAM, and vulnerability management.
• Networking : Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, load balancing, and firewalls.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
