Job Title: Senior BIM Coordinator (MEP) Company : Adlai BIM Department: Engineering Background: Electrical or Mechanical Location: Bangalore Summary of the Role : The BIM Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Building Information Modeling (BIM) efforts of all project teams at Adlai BIM.
This includes ensuring that all members of the project team are following the BIM Execution Plan, making sure that everyone is using the right software, exchanging data regularly, and adhering to the model standards set forth in the plan.
In addition to these duties, the BIM Coordinator may also be responsible for training new team members on BIM processes, maintaining the BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, and developing BIM tools and templates. Roles & Responsibilities: Coordinate the BIM efforts of all project teams. Manage and resolve clashes and coordination issues between disciplines.
Production of drawings, specifications, and schedules, according to the project BIM Execution plan. Responsible for delivering all 2D and 3D co-ordination milestones on each project. Complete understanding of ISO 19650 and any client’s BIM Requirements.
Ensure that all members of the project team are following the BIM Execution Plan. Adhere to the model standards set forth in the plan. Train new team members on BIM processes.
Develop BIM tools and templates Qualifications: Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering. 5-10 years of experience in BIM coordination. Strong understanding of BIM principles, standards and protocols.
Experience with BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail. Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Proficiency in CDE like BIM 360, ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
